Exemplary adaptation and implementation of an audio-visual media system for fortresses by using of QR-code system

The multilingual, audio-visual system at various media spots is web based and has two operational modes with multitask applications. This database is to contain all necessary information concerning the Fortress Rosenberg together with its cultural historical context, all on the software framework basis. Any of the information, either given as text, visual or audio-file, will be easily accessible from various spots at the Fortress. The system will also enable every visitor to customize the given audio-visual information.

National Information Point Germany to Fortified Heritage - exemplary model for a national information centre dedicated to the fortified heritage of Central Europe aiming to imitate it in each CE-member state for a future linked CE-net of national information points [Erfurt]

This pilot project should be the example and prototype for NIP in the other states of CE, highlighting their national fortified heritage together with the connection and linking as a common European cultural heritage. Due to its very close location to the city centre, special reconstruction state and location within CE the citadel Petersberg presents itself as the ideal location for NIP-D. The buildings "war powder magazine I and V" are preserved examples of mastership in fortified monument construction themselves and win further attractiveness by their intended usage. Both buildings should be integrated as exhibition area with the planning and realizing of the proposed centre inside. PP7 will offer a concept for the work package discussion and network meetings, as basis for a project realisation phase task, starting with construction and infrastructure engineering as well as the equipment and communication planning.

Exemplary and demonstrative implementation of a landing stage from river Odra into the fortress monument Kostrzyn as infrastructure to link Central European fortress heritage via waterways and water tourism under the conditions of monument and nature protection

The pilot investment concerns the exemplary construction of a landing–stage at the waterfront of the Odra river with adjacent land development in the fortress monument. The landing stage will be situated directly in the area of fortress Kostrzyn. It connects the water front with the tourist attractions in the big fortress system. The pilot investment should stimulate all other fortresses at waterfronts of European rivers, lakes and coasts, link the fortified heritage with the help of waterways and connect the CE-fortresses with the growing European water tourism.
Server as data storage for electronic data bank and Transnational Information System Central Europe fortified monuments

Trans-national Information System (TIS) will be the first trans-national centralised electronic databank (electronic registration system) of the fortified heritage in Central Europe. The databank collects electronic documents, information and activities of fortress monuments and presents it for a wide range of users. Due to the fact that the TIS is complex data and information collection it requires a special hardware for storage, saving and transferring/disseminating the information. The server has to be equipped with special technics and capability to realise this demand.
Server as data storage for electronic registration system of traditional knowledge and expertise on the monument construction and conservation technologies

The data server is the necessary hardware including software for the new electronic databank traditional knowledge and expertise about the fortified buildings and architecture in CE. It shall be the first centralised, trans-national electronic databank (electronic registration system) for original technologies, traditional handicrafts and materials used for the construction of fortress monuments. It is an instrument dedicated to research, knowledge saving and knowledge transfer.
This data server is directly linked with the activity 6.4: new capacities to save traditional knowledge and expertise and the core output 6.4.2 Development and Installation of databank traditional knowledge.
The server needs to be equipped with special technics and capability which require clearing during its development process.
